IS WIFI OR CABLE NEEDED TO OPERATE THIS T.V?

No, you do not need wi-fi or cable to operate the TU690T TV. However, if you want to use Samsung TV Plus or any Streaming services you will need to be connected to internet. Your other option is to purchase an external antenna which will allow you to connect to local channels in your area.

Does this tv have a guest mode? I'm purchasing for a vacation rental and would like for guest to he able to log in to their own streaming services and schedule an automatic logout for when they leave.
