I purchased the 650 soundbar for an older model Samsung TV. I LOVE the sound. I connected using the optical and hdmi cables. Is this necessary? Will this somehow enhance the sound out put or should I only connect using the optical cables. Which is best?

You will want to only connect one or the other. If your TV has a HDMI input labeled TV ARC then you will want to use just the HDMI cable. This will offer you the best audio and user experience.

Can I get free local channels?

The CU7000 TV comes with a built-in tuner allowing you to connect to an external Antenna to connect to local channels. The Antenna is not included.

Just bought the Samsung 43 cu 7000. The picture could be sharper. How do I adjust the color and brightness?

To adjust the brightness on your TV, go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings.

You can also adjust the picture mode by going to Home > Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode.

Tv is 55”. Why does it say width is 48.4

It is industry standard to measure the TV diagonally when measuring the TV screen size. The TV, when measured diagonally, is 54.6" across. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding!

Why is it advertised as a 58” but the diagram show 50.8”?

It is industry standard to measure the TV diagonally when measuring the TV screen size. The TV, when measured diagonally is 57.5" across.
