I want to upgrade my HP 260 G3 DM Business PC AMS 250GB Internal Drive to 1TB. It has a KIOXIA Model KBG40ZNV256G BG4 NVMe 256GB. Will this Samsung - 980 1 TB work as a replacement or do you recommend another unit?

The specifications for the HP 260 G3 DM Business show that it supports an M.2 2280 socket. You should have no issue connecting the 980 PRO to your device.

Can I install this in a HP Victus gaming laptop? Id like to upgrade to at least 1 tb storage. The SSD I currently have has 512gb capacity. My current SSD card is not made by Samsung. Is this product made for PCs?

Does this unit (model number MZ-V8P2T0B/AM) have an M key, B+M key or B key for the connection prongs? Can it be fitted to an M.2 NVME to SATA adapter? If so, which would you recommend? Thanks.

Samsung NVMe SSDs use the “M-Key” (to leverage PCIe x4 for maximum performance) and cannot be plugged into an M.2 slot with a “B-Key”.

Is this a Dual Sided M.2 SSD or single? I just purchased a Razer Blade, and it is upgradeable to 2 TB SSD, but only supports Dual Sided M.2 for the Open Slot. Thanks in advance.

Will this work with the steam deck?

Hi there,

Please refer to your owner's manual for exact specifications for your Steam Deck. If it uses socketed 2230 m.2 modules, the 980 SSD is not compatible. The 980 is a 2280 form factor.

The LG K20plus supports microSD cards, so this full size SD card would not be a compatible card.
