Bought the Best Buy Essentials wall mount and there isn't the right size screws that fit into the back of the TV. Everywhere online says the size is M8. M8 is too small. What is the size that this TV needs?

Please know that we do not include wall mount screws because not every wall will require the same type of screw. Each customer’s mounting situation can be very different, requiring specific screws to ensure the best, most secure fit. A generic screw type included in the box might be inappropriate for a customer’s wall; the result could be the customer inadvertently mounting his TV insecurely.

The TU690T requires 4 x M8 screws, 20-22mm length, and 1.25mm pitch. The 20-22mm is not the screw length. It’s the wall mount thread depth in the TV chassis.

Make sure to add the wall mount bracket thickness to the thread depth for minimum screw length.

If you cannot find the fitting screws, you could use washers (supplied with the wall mount) to adjust the length.

Yes, you can connect via Wi-Fi. DIRECTV Stream, which is a part of AT&T Streaming is also an available app on the TU690T TV.

Hello, I'm planniing on using the VESA mount, I'm just wondering how far from the center of the VESA mount to the top of the TV is? So that we can plan for it. Thank you for your time

Hi TVToddy,

The center between all four mounts to the top of the 75" TU690T is 699.65mm or 27.5in. The top mounting hole to the top of the TV is 230.9mm or 9".

The ice bucket is located on the left side of the middle drawer of this refrigerator model and not in the beverage center area.

Does remote control allow voice commands?

No, the remote on the TU690T TV is not a voice remote, nor does not have voice assistants built in. However, they do work with Alexa and Google Assistant. You can connect them to your existing Alexa and Google Assistant devices to ask them to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more.
