Once I turn off the TV, I hear a slight buzz/hum sound coming from it; very faint, but you can hear it when you get close. I've read that this "just happens" with OLED's, but also read it could be "dirty power" (Q7C doesn't buzz). Anyone hear this too?

Hi Pauly - The S95B TV utilizes high-speed switching circuits and high levels of electrical current. Depending on the brightness level, the TV may seem slightly noisier than usual. Please know the TV has undergone performance and reliability procedures and requirements, and some noise coming from the TV is normal and does not indicate a defect.

Hi what size tv stand do I need fit 85 inch on ? Can I fit on smaller tv stand or does it have to be a 85 inch tv stand?

The feet on the 85" AU8000 TV are adjustable and sit at either 62" or 50.6" apart. If your TV stand is enclosed, the 85" TV dimensions are 74.6" x 46.7" x 15.5"(WxHxD). I hope this helps!

Yes, you can screen mirror from your (laptop, phone, etc.) to the AU8000 TV using SmartThings on Android devices or Apple AirPlay on iOS devices.

Bought the Best Buy Essentials wall mount and there isn't the right size screws that fit into the back of the TV. Everywhere online says the size is M8. M8 is too small. What is the size that this TV needs?

Hi Drscannon,

Please know that we do not include wall mount screws because not every wall will require the same type of screw. Each customer’s mounting situation can be very different, requiring specific screws to ensure the best, most secure fit. A generic screw type included in the box might be inappropriate for a customer’s wall; the result could be the customer inadvertently mounting his TV insecurely.

The TU690T requires 4 x M8 screws, 20-22mm length, and 1.25mm pitch. The 20-22mm is not the screw length. It’s the wall mount thread depth in the TV chassis.

Make sure to add the wall mount bracket thickness to the thread depth for minimum screw length.

If you cannot find the fitting screws, you could use washers (supplied with the wall mount) to adjust the length.

Yes, you can connect via Wi-Fi. DIRECTV Stream, which is a part of AT&T Streaming is also an available app on the TU690T TV.
