The stainless steel looks darker in the photos than the other brands. Will this be the same color as a stainless Sub Zero refrigerator? Thank you.

We appreciate your question about the finish of this Samsung dishwasher model and if it is the same color as a different brand.

We agree that certain conditions may affect how the finish of a Home Appliance may look, from the monitor used, how it was uploaded to the site, the camera that was used, etc.

Each company has different ways of creating its finish for its panels. The Stainless Steel look may either look darker or lighter if compared to other brands in the market.

The best way of finding out would be to visit a local vendor like Best Buy and see if the color matches. You can also try calling them and seeing if one of the agents there can check for you to save a visit.

Can you not put the hinges on? I need a refrigerator that is no more than 69in and that is the max. I see here without the hinges it is under 69in.

That's an interesting question. Removing the hinges is not advisable since the doors are attached to the hinges.

The back of the unit measures 68 7/8 inches, while the front measures 70 inches due to the door. We would suggest looking into the link below for more details.

Why does this washer has a hot water inlet and an internal heater? Is it mandatory to connect to the hot water inlet as well? What would be the benefit - really hot water?

Thanks for asking, Pete! The hot water inlet is used to supply hot water using a water hose and is optional as per your washing needs. The internal heater is generally used to increase the temperature of the water that will be used for the steam options.

If you do not want to use the hot water supply hose, attach the water intake cap to the hot water supply intake. When you do a wash, ensure you select "Cold".
