Glad you asked about the washer and if this needs a drip tray. A drip pan, also known as a drain pan, is required when the washing machine is not installed on the ground floor of your home. We recommend low-profile drip pans for front-load washing machines because they allow access to the pump filter (which requires routine cleaning). Certain models (such as the WA54R7200 series) may require the drip pan's bulge to be less than 5/8 inches. You can find drip pans on Amazon. Please see the list below for the dimensions of our current models.

I just bought this model, but what happens is that it releases a lot of water and I’m not sure if it's because of the temperature, if so what’s the temperature recommended? or what should I do?

The recommended temperature range is between 50 °F (10 °C) and 109 °F (43 °C).

Possible causes for the water release could be:

1. Condensation (such as if the fridge was recently turned off or without power).
2. A spill or a leak from one of the food items in the refrigerator.

I’ve been told to avoid Samsung refrigerators as the ice makers are unreliable. I’ve had several friends bring this to my attention. Has this issue been resolved?

We are pleased to hear from you. Glad that you ask regarding the ice maker of our Samsung refrigerator.

Ice maker is one of the features that Samsung offer.

For the ice maker to operate properly, water pressure must be between 30-125 psi (206-861 kPa). If the refrigerator is installed in an area with low water pressure (below 30 psi / 206 kPa), you can install a booster pump to compensate for the low pressure.

After you have installed your refrigerator and plugged it in, follow these instructions to ensure proper ice making and keep the ice bucket full of ice.

1. Let the ice maker make ice for 1-2 days.
2. Discard the first 1-2 buckets of ice to remove impurities in the water supply system.
