If I connect my 4k bluray player that supports Dolby Vision to this sound bar will it allow for Dolby Vision to pass through?

I’m not real electronics savvy but if I connect hdmi.from the tv to the sound bar do I also connect the optical cable from the TV to the sound bar or use just one of those methods?
