what is the distance between the support legs on the Samsung 55" model UN58TU7000

Hi missT! You have posted this question under the model 55" AU8000, should you need the information for this mode, the legs for the 55" AU8000 are spaced 35.6" apart. The legs for the 58" TU7000 are spaced 39.9" apart.

where do you get correct mounting screws /

Hi dave! To mount this TV, you will need 4 M8 screws, 11-13mm depth, 1.25mm pitch. Please also consider the thickness of your bracket when choosing the optimal screw length. Universal mounting solutions should include a wide range of various screw sizes, otherwise stop by a local hardware store to purchase the correct size required for the TV.

Had this TV a few weeks, sometimes while using a game system like the XBOX One or Nintendo switch, the TV will spontaneously switch inputs to our Verizon Fios cable box. The cable box doesn't even have to be on for this to happen. How do we stop this?

Hi njch! Samsung TV's have Anynet+ (also known as HDMI-CEC), a feature that allows connected external HDMI devices to inform your TV when they have turned on. By default, the TV will immediately switch to this source when this happens. To turn off this function of a device connected to the TV, turn off the Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) function of the device. Also, please make sure that your TV’s firmware is up to date.

Can the remote that comes with this TV be set up to also function with our cable provider, Suddenlink Tivo?

Hi BobbE! The Smart Remote with Voice included with the AU8000 will allow you to control basic functions of a wide range of external devices that are connected via HDMI. Connect an external device to the HDMI port of the TV, and then power on the external device. Your TV will automatically recognize the device when connected through HDMI, and will switch the output. If it doesn’t automatically detect, press Source, and select Universal Remote to continue the setup process for the Universal Remote.
