Can this TV run the Samsung Smartthings App.

Hi Smarty2Shoes! The SmarThings dashboard is not available on the AU8000. This feature starts with the 2021 Samsung Q60A QLED TV. The AU8000 can be connected to the Smart Things App on a mobile device for additional ways to control the TV.

does this tv come with the paramount plus app preloaded on it

Hi rlrms! Paramount+ does not come preinstalled on the AU8000 however it can quickly and easily be downloaded through the built in App Store.

I have an older DVD VHS tape player that connect by the old three cable plug ins, red, yellow and white. Is there a way to convert to one of the inputs on this TV?

Does this TV have the YouTubeTV app pre installed? This is different than just the YouTube app. Also can you access the Peloton app from the App Store?

Hi! The YouTube TV app does not come pre-installed on the AU8000; however, it can quickly and easily be searched for and downloaded through the AU8000's built in App Store. The Peloton app is not available for download at this time.

Does this model's HDMI ports support 2.1 or 2.2

Hi Gidz! The 70" TU6985 features a VESA mounting pattern of 400 x 300. If your mounting hardware supports a VESA pattern of 400 x 300 it will be compatible with the TU6985. To mount this TV you will need 4 M8 screws, 20-22mm depth, 1.25mm pitch. Please also take into account the thickness of your bracket when choosing the optimal screw length.

I'm thinking about buying this TV, but I wanted to know if the TV still has the problem of making sounds when it is off? Based on the reviews, owners have described the sound like a knocking, clicking, or dripping sound. Thanks in advance!

Hi MS! Samsung TVs use a combination of metal and plastic material. These materials are subject to expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. Occasional creaking, popping, or cracking may be heard. This does not happen to all customers with the AU8000, nor does it indicate a product malfunction.
