Hi Johnny! The TU6985 is not compatible with a One Connect Box. One Connect box support starts with our 2021 Neo QLED model QN800A.

Does the TV come with a protective film on the screen?

Hi Chris! If there is a protective film on your screen, it will be indicated with a large blue triangle in the upper left corner. The triangle will have an illustration showing how to remove the protective film.
If you do not have a blue triangle in the upper left corner, then that means there is no protective film on the screen, so please do not try to peel off anything. You will damage what is actually the screen. Hi! I know this isn’t a Roku tv but is this tv capable of using the Roku app on my iPhone once I download Roku onto this tv? I’m technology illiterate, I’m sorry!

The TU6985 gives you the ability to download the Roku Channel app through the App Store to access select free content; however this TV uses a Tizen operating system which will not allow you to utilize the Roku App to control the TV. The Tizen platform has a built-in App Store which allows you to choose from and download hundreds of apps such as discovery+, HBO Max, Disney+, and many more. We are continuously adding more premium content and new services to our Smart TV platform. It also comes with Samsung TV Plus which offers hundreds of free channels of news, sports, movies, and much more.

I BOUGHT THIS TV COUPLE DAYS AGO AND ONLINE IT WAS SHOWING THAT AMBIENT MODE IS AVAILABLE. WHEN TURNING ON THE TV THERE IS NO AMBIENT MODE.

Hi alex! Ambient mode is not available on the AU8000. Support for Ambient mode starts with our 2021 Q60A QLED TV from Samsung.

CAN THE VOICE ASSISTANT BE DISABLED ON A SAMSUNG 8000 CLASS SERIES LED 4K UHD SMART TIZEN TV MODEL # UN65AU8000SERIES

Hi TOM! You can disable the voice assistant feature by going to Settings > General > Voice > Bixby Voice Settings > Voice Response > Off. Then open Voice Wake-Up Settings and set to OFF. You can also disable Alexa and Google Assistant.
