Hi, I have HW-Q70R system. I want to add rear wireless speakers with dolby atmos up firing speakers. If this model SWA-9500S is not compatible with my sound system, are there any other rear speakers with dolby atmos that are compatible with HW-Q70R?

Hi Ram! The SWA-9500S is only compatible with select 2021 Samsung soundbars and is not backwards compatible with the HW-Q70R. This is the first generation of Samsung rear speaker kits to support Dolby Atmos. ^Tim

Are these speakers wireless? If not, how long are the speaker wires.

Hi RONALD! Each speaker included with the SWA-9100S will wire to a wireless module. The wireless module will need to be plugged in to an outlet to provide power to the speakers and connect wirelessly to the soundbar.

Using digital optical cables and tv remote will not work to control volume

Hi Snoopy! TV remotes have to be enabled on your soundbar. By default, Samsung TV remotes are enabled on your soundbar. If it isn't working, be sure the soundbar is powered on, then press and hold the WOOFER button. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “Off-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Samsung-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”.

How many watts it produce, also do we need SWA-W500 subwoofer or will it work with inbuild subwoofer?

Hi VikB! The HW-S50A is a 140W soundbar. You can add the SWA-W500 should you feel you need more bass than the built in woofers can provide.

My HW-S50A came with no directions as to how to get the remote open to install batteries, I can't get it open!!!!
