Was reading Q&A but unfortunately I’m in an underserved area for internet, let alone cable. I only have an antenna and would need an antenna connection. Does this model have the connection?

Hi Mimi! Yes, the AU8000 features a standard coaxial connection for compatibility with over the air antennas. Once the antenna is connected, you will need to scan for available channels by using the built in Auto Program feature.

Is it super slow when trying to navigate apps? (e.g., YouTube on my Samsung from 2015 is so slow when trying to click around) 8 series is a great price right now ($399), & I’d love to upgrade my current tv but hesitating if smart features are still slow.

Hi JeffG! If you are experiencing slow response time, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. Please also make sure you have the latest firmware version. We have tried connecting an antenna to get local channels and have been unsuccessful so far-is there a way to do this?

Hi Annie! You have to first connect an antenna or cable and then scan for local stations. Once you do this, available channels nearby will be yours to watch! To scan for channels, navigate to Settings > Broadcasting > Auto Program. Hey! Can I use a Bluetooth sound bar and my Bluetooth earbuds at the same time with this TV?

Hi JWCMAC! The AU8000 is only compatible with one Bluetooth audio device at a time. Multi-output Audio allows you output audio from both your TV speakers and Bluetooth headphones simultaneously. To activate this setting go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Multi-output Audio.

How can I get the sound To play From my TV while connected to Bluetooth?

Why two HDMI input only ?

Hi Sheko! Samsung features a wide range of TV models in the 2021 lineup with varying features and connections. Starting with the AU8000 you have the advantage of 3 HDMI ports. The Q60A and above features 4 HDMI ports for connecting to external devices.
