Hi is the edge lit better than direct lit? If so what’s the difference?

Hi Reb202198! Edge lighting and direct lighting can both be effective backlighting technologies for LED TVs. With the edge lighting on the AU8000 we are able to maintain a slim 1" depth of the TV while still providing impressive contrast levels.

How bad is gaming on a Samsung UN43AU8000 FXZA used with a PS5 game system. Will it be acceptable?

This model has 3 HDMI ports, all of which support HDR10+ and Auto Low Latency Mode (Auto Game Mode). The “HDMI In 2” port further supports eARC. If you are looking for a TV capable of 4K@120fps (FRL), please consider a step up to Q70A Series, which supports “FRL on HDMI In 4”.

The HW-A450 will connect to the TV using either digital optical or Bluetooth wireless audio. The included subwoofer will need to be plugged into a nearby outlet and will then connect wirelessly to the soundbar. Can this soundbar connect wirelessly to an Epson projector? From what I've read, Epson projectors can only pair with bluetooth speakers that support SCMS-T. Thanks!

Hi KH23! We recommend reaching out to Epson to verify SCMS-T is still required as it is not supported on Samsung 2021 Soundbars. SCMS-T was launched in 1987 and became generally obsolete once the MP3 audio format became mainstream as it was no longer an essential feature. Samsung soundbars are compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth audio devices; the information you are reading from Epson may be outdated. I hope this helps.
