The rear speakers only work when watching tv. If I switch to youtube or on demand the rear speakers dont work. Thoughts?

Is there any way to adjust the balance on the rear speakers or adjust the volume on one of the speakers. I hear a lot more out of the right rear than the left one.

Hi Jbw4443! You can try manually optimizing your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear) to access the setting. The selected item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons. If Surround Speakers are connected, select REAR LEVEL and then use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range. The volume adjustment will be made to both speakers. ^Patty

Can I use this without a TV? I am hoping to buy a soundbar set that I can keep in my living room to play music via my phone's bluetooth. Can I do this or do I need to set it up with a TV?

Installed the Q850A yesterday and all is well after frustration with the directions. Today I decided to move the Sub. Once I unplugged the Sub and relocated to another socket the Sub will not connect automatically or manually to the wi fi. What to do

Will this system play the exact same sound from the rear speakers as the front speakers. I’m hearing impaired and need the sound quality of spoken words to be clear from the rear speakers not just special effects from surround sound. Thank you. Vic

Hi Vic! The HW-Q65T Soundbar includes the SWA-8500 wireless surround speaker set. By design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume. ^Patty
