How do I synch my sound bar to my Samsung tv remote?

Hi JoeBob! By deafault, you can adjust the HW-A550 Soundbar volume using a Samsung TV’s remote control. If this is not working you can try the following steps. 1) Turn Off the Soundbar. 2) Push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “Samsung-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Off-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”. The LED indicator status changes each time the mode is changed. Alternatively, connecting the soundbar to the TV via HDMI ARC will allow you to use the TV remote to control the soundbar. Hi Gramps! You will be able to utilize the optical audio cable to connect the HW-A450 to a 6 series Samsung. In order to wirelessly connect the soundbar to the TV, the TV needs to support Bluetooth audio; this feature is available on the TU7000 Crystal UHD TV or above. ^Tim

I just purchased a Panasonic Blue Ray Smart DVD player. The sound bar is connected via eARC to TV. However it seems when watching the DVD player it connects via Bluetooth. Even if trying to connect via eARC it won't. any fixes or suggestions>

Hi ANnie! The soundbar will automatically switch sources to Bluetooth if it detects a device is trying to connect. Please be sure the soundbar is not paired with the TV or any other Bluetooth devices nearby. Hi Pacino! The HW-Q900A will connect to any TV supporting HDMI, Digital Optical audio, or Bluetooth wireless audio technology. The soundbar does not need to connect to a Samsung TV. For the best experience, we recommend connecting to a TV that supports HDMI eARC. ^Tim
