Will this TV work with a generic pedestal stand?

I'm having a problem with turning the volume up or down. When I push the volume button it either does nothing or the volume flies to 0 or up to 100 without me being able to stop it or if I hold it it starts the accessibility menu.

Hi crazyb! Many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for > than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appears. ^Tim
