"The soundbar should be one with the television if you have it connected HDMI to the ARC HDMI port on the television" This is going on my smaller sharp Aquos LG60LE632U I don't think it has ARC HDMI can I still use this sound bar ?

Hi JackieStar - You can connect the HW-Q850T Soundbar to your TV via any HDMI port but you won't be able to passthrough Dolby content, which HW-Q850T supports. If your TV doesn't support ARC, it likely doesn't have Dolby. ^Patty

Should the floor speaker be face straight or side ways for the best sound?
