Samsung - 65" Class QN90A Neo QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV (2021)
Samsung - 65" Class QN90A Neo QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV (2021)
The QN90A is the finest of the Samsung 4K TV lineup. This series features Quantum HDR 32X which delivers spectacularly vibrant, bright, and vivid colors. Using a precise array of Quantum Mini LEDs, our game-changing Quantum Matrix Technology creates impeccable contrast so you can see intense picture detail. Object Tracking Sound+ follows the action as it happens on-screen to deliver a highly immersive experience. Plus, with the Ultra Viewing Angle and anti-glare screen technology, every seat is now the best seat.

Why does this $2600 TV loose black or shadow details that even the most basic side lit LED or OLED TV would easily show?

Scott - The QN90A TV features different Picture Modes to choose from, allowing you to find the mode to best suit your preferences. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.

Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Adaptive Picture, which is among the options, optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition and your content.

Is there a way to anchor the TV to the table. The two legs do not seem sturdy enough to secure to the table or to the wall while sitting on the table.

Hi wayne - Please know that the TV stand was solidly designed and tested for stability; however, you can utilize anti-tip kits or straps to secure your TV stand to it's surface. Check out this option at Best Buy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sanus-antitip-strap-for-most-flat-panel-tvs-up-to-70-black/4758207.p?skuId=4758207 ^Gina

How does this qled compare to the LG Oled tvs? Also, what about screen burn in on the Qled?

Hi Rod - A QLED TV is a Quantum Dot-based TV, and that Quantum Dot material is what makes QLED TVs different from conventional ones. QLED TVs use Quantum Dots which are inorganic, durable, stable and allow for excellent color and brightness. Meanwhile OLED TVs use a controversial organic material that leaves them susceptible to image retention. The Q60A is powered by Quantum Dot Technology. QLED TVs’ durability lies in Samsung’s use of inorganic Quantum Dots. Unlike display technologies based on organic materials, Quantum Dots do not degrade over time. This allows QLED TVs to offer exceptional picture quality that not only lasts much longer than other displays but is guaranteed to be burn-in free for 10 years by our Q-Guarantee. ^Gina

Will this thinner TV still hang on my older tv wall stand or do I have to purchase the thinner wall stand?

Hi Alice - If your previous TV utilized a VESA pattern of 200mm x 200mm, you will be able to use it for the 43" Q60A TV as well. ^Gina

I received a SONY Headset (a little hard of hearing) as a Christmas gift last year. will it work with the 55" Class Q80A Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV?

Hi Retiredguy! If the headset you've received is Bluetooth enabled, you can seamlessly connect it to the Q80A TV. You can even use the Multi-Output Audio feature to use both TV speakers and Bluetooth headsets simultaneously if you have viewers who want two different volume levels. ^Gina
