How is the dialogue/character voices sound? I'm trying to find something simple for my parents to use, so they can hear their favorite shows that have soft spoken characters.

I have a new Samsung TU8000. Will I need to turn on the audio system separately, or will it come on when I turn the TV on with its remote?

Is the subwoofer wireless right out of the box, or do you need additional parts sold separately?

Will the Xfinity remote, control the sound bar functions? It handles all functions of the Samsung smart 4K tv now. I don’t want to have to use another remote

If I use an optical connection vs. HDMI (I don't have any more HDMI connections available), does that affect/diminish the sound quality?

Hi Bob, you'll lose some quality with an Optical connection, but many people can't tell the difference. You should try your favorite content with both HDMI and Optical. If you don't hear any difference go with the convenience of an Optical connection. Thanks, ^Scott
