If it's so fragile that the screen can be cracked just by holding it firmly so you don't drop it, who would even want to buy it?

Screens are fragile, with the support coming from the edges, or the bezel. I purchased a new UN70TU6980FXZA from Best Buy. It doesn't recognize my cable box from Xfinity, model XG2v2-P. I have another smart TV that works with it just fine (it's smaller, so I bought this Samsung one to upgrade). Now what?

My TV will be connected to a cable company with a HDMI cable and I have a DVD player with a HDMI cable, does it matter which HDMI on the TV port that I use? I just purchased that TV last Friday(Black Friday.
