Hi Soundbar, that is likely the dust cover over the Optical port. Those connections can be sensitive so you should leave it on unless you have a cord plugged into the port. Thanks! ^Scott

HHow does this compare to the old Sound+ and sound +sub wooofer with satelite speaker set up? im wonmdering if i should upgrade since i have the Q80T tv now

Hi Rathalos, great question. Ths HW-Q850 T will have features the Sound+ soundbar didn't. Fisrt the new sound bar will decode Dolby Atmos and DTSX which, depending on the model, your current one can't. You'll also be able to use Samsung Symphony which plays audio from the TV and sound bar at the same time to give you more immersive sound. ^Scott

I have a bluetooth enabled Epson projector, will this connect to the projector via bluetooth and play sound without any additional equipment needed?

Hi Scott, great name. The HW-Q850T can accept a Bluetooth signal from the vast majority of devices up to Bluetooth 4.2. As such, it will depend on the capabilities of your projector. I hope this helps. ^Scott

Hi Sam, the 65" RU9000 is an edge lit TV which uses a light guide to spread the backlight throughout the screen. This gives it a much thinner profile than many direct lit TV's. Great question! ^Scott
