I’m told the best coaxial cable for the Q80T is an RG6 cable from Mediabridge. Other manufacturers? I need at least 20 feet coming from the wall outlet to the cable box - in white, if possible. Should I use the same brand for the cable-to-TV connection?

Hi SeriouslyShoppingNow! The Q80T is compatible with RG6 or Coaxial cables from any manufacturer. Check out the following link for the 25' RG6 cable from Rocketfish available at Best Buy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/rocketfish-25-rg6-in-wall-indoor-outdoor-coaxial-a-v-cable-black/6609051.p?skuId=6609051

Does this model have picture in picture (PIP)? What models do? I'd like to play Xbox and watch a football game over the air in the corner of the screen.

Hi Richard! The Q80T supports Samsung's Multi View feature allowing you to view two different types of content side by side. For example, you can view media from different sources, such as an app, Blu-ray player, or game console, on the main left screen, while also mirroring your phone to the smaller screen. Multi View provides you with endless possibilities for splitting screens and viewing several types of content at the same time.

Is this too big if my room is only 10x12?

Hi! With 4K TVs you can sit much closer to the TV than before without seeing loss of detail or pixilation, this allows you to get a much bigger TV even when sitting closer to the TV. ^Tim

Will I be able to connect a DVD player to the 50-inch Q80T model? The specs indicate there are zero “video component inputs.” Can the DVD player be connected to the TV using one of the other ports or inputs? If so, which one? Thanks.

Hi SeriouslyShoppingNow! The Q80T supports 4 HDMI ports for connecting external devices. DVD players frequently use Composite (Yellow, White, Red) connections which will not work with the Q80T. The following adapter from Best Buy will convert your composite connection to HDMI allowing compatibility between the DVD player and the Q80T: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-rca-to-hdmi-converter-black/6134312.p?skuId=6134312

One reviewer of the 50-inch Q80T stated that his TV had very weak WiFi connectivity. He had to add a Roku device to deal with the weak WiFi connection. Has Samsung encountered this issue before with this model? If so, what should I expect if I buy it?

Hi SeriouslyShoppingNow! Samsung TVs like the Q80T feature Built-in Wi-Fi 802.11ac allowing you to connect to either 2.4 or 5ghz bands for improved connection strength, or faster speeds when close to the router. The Q80T also features support for a hardwired connection to ensure you are getting the most out of your internet. ^Tim

Does this system have a chromecast connection? Also does the Bluetooth connection accept a Bluetooth keyboard?

Hi Bobkrez! The Q80T supports casting from compatible applications as well as screen mirroring from Android and Apple mobile devices. The Bluetooth connection can be used for speakers, headphones, keyboards, and more giving you a wide range of ways to control and listen to your TV. ^Tim

Apart from Gaming features, does the 50Q80T has the same picture quality as other sizes ?

Hi FOUBAS! The 50Q80T features a 120 motion rate whereas the 55Q80T and larger features a 240 motion rate for improved handling of fast objects on screen. Sports, action movies, and video games are most commonly effected by improved motion handling technology. ^Tim
