Hi Lefty50! The TU7000 is compatible with full 4K resolution when connected to a source that supports it. Contact Verizon to determine the picture quality available through your plan. A strong Wi-Fi connection will help provide improved picture quality from streaming services that support it. 75 mbps will be enough to receive full 4K resolution from streaming services, but will not have any effect on picture quality through HDMI. ^Tim

Does this allow you to enter a channel directly or do an add on scan or only a full re-scan for channels, we have stations in several directions

Hi JCM! The TU7000 features an auto-scan option when looking for channels which will automatically scan, detect, and add channels to your TV. You can view the signal strength for each digital channel and adjust the antenna accordingly for better signal. To view this information navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information.

Can this TV be used outdoors on a covered and screened in porch?

Hi! The TU7000 is not designed for use outdoors, placing the TV in an environment it is not designed for may cause damage. Here are the TVs required operating conditions:

Operating Temperature: 50°F to 104°F (10°C to 40°C)
Operating Humidity: 10% to 80%, non-condensing
Storage Temperature: -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C)
Storage Humidity: 5% to 95%, non-condensing
