How are these better than the model 8500? Do they have a tweeter?

Hi Steve76! The SWA-8500s and the SWA-9000s are compatible with different soundbars and are not designed to be interchangeable. The SWA-9000s speakers are slightly larger, and compatible with 2020 soundbar models HW-Q70T and above. ^Tim
