What is the difference between a Samsung 3.1 channel soundbar and a 5.1 channel soundbar?

Hi Wendell, The 3.1 Channel has 3 speakers across the front which gives you stereo sound with clear dialogue. The 5.1 adds two Acoustic Beam speakers on the top of the soundbar that lets sound reflect off the room to give you a surround effect from the soundbar. The 5.1 would give the room a more theater feel than the 3.1 soundbar. ^Jeremy

Well it come on when you turn tv on or do i have to turn it on. I like it to come on every time when tv on

Hi there, This soundbar would turn on and off with the TV if you use the HDMI ARC connection on the back of the TV. If you have a newer Samsung TV then the TV remote would operate it as well. ^Jeremy

Great question, Joan! The refrigerator has an internal water reservoir that it dispenses from. The reservoir holds about a quart of water, or approximately 2 - 4 glasses. My tv dont have digital optical audio port. Does this item have a AUX Jack?

Hi there, This soundbar does not have an Aux In, however it does have HDMI In, so if your TV has an HDMI ARC jack then you could use this soundbar via this connection. ^Jeremy

Hi Curious, The HW-T550 does not work with an Alexa Device. The first soundbar in our lineup to work with Alexa would be the HW-Q70T. Does it work with the samsung smart TV remote or is the remote separate?

Hi Wilson, The soundbar comes with a remote, however when you connect it to a Samsung TV then the TV remote will operate the soundbars volume and power on and off for the majority of Samsung Tv models. ^Jeremy

Does this sound bar allow you to use it with Netflix and Prime Video? Also, firestick? A turntable?

Hi Sheryl, The soundbar is made to connect to a TV and therefore your accessories (Firestick) would need to be in the TV. Whatever the TV is playing for audio could then go through the soundbar. A turntable will not connect to a soundbar. ^Jeremy
