Does this TV need a sound bar? If yes, can I use my current Sony 2.1 Channel Sound Bar purchased at Best Buy in 2016? Legs of this TV are longer than Sony Sound Bar....will it fit under TV with legs extending beyond?

Hi MaryP - You can add a soundbar to enhance your audio experience if you choose. The full dimensions of the 55" TU8000 are (INCHES W x H x D):
― TV without stand: 48.4 x 27.8 x 2.4
― TV with stand: 48.4 x 30.8 x 9.9
- The legs are 46.6" apart.
- This gives you 3" of clearance under the TV when it is set up on its legs.

Is there an option for a center stand for this tv

Hi Rick - This TV comes with 2 separate legs in the box. However, Samsung TVs are VESA Compliant and work with any wall mount or stand that is also VESA Compliant and designed for the TV's size. For a 50” TV, you would need a VESA bolt pattern of 200 mm x 200 mm. Screws and adapters are not included with your TV. ^Val
