Hi Philly! The TU7000 does indeed come with the standard smart remote with buttons. There is also a sleep timer function you can turn on in your TV's settings: Home > Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer. From there, you can choose what length of timer you'd like to set. ^Gina

Was this tv supposed to come with spacers to mount this tv? My old tv mount screws are not big enough for this model. Do I have to buy any additional items once I purchase a new mount?

Mari, your TV should include spacers for when you are ready to mount the TV. The 43TU7000 can use any wall mount with a VESA Standard of 200mm x 200mm. To mount this TV, you will need 4 M8 screws with 20/22mm length, and 1.25mm pitch. ^Gina

Can this TV play .AVI file on flash drive through the USB ports? I had the RU series and it couldn't.
