We switched from Dish to Diretv right after purchasing this tv. Directv does not see this TV as 4K... Is this 4K or not?

Hello DavidH, the TU8000 is a 4K TV. As suggested, check your HDMI cable you make need a 4K cable. My TV stand is only 27.6 in long and is probably worth more then a $400 TV. Does Samsung sell a pedestal option for its 50" TV's so I can keep the stand and not have to buy a smaller TV?

Bought this TV in March. Watching tonight and it just stopped in mid picture. Then went black. Cannot get it to turn back on. No sound, nothing. Red light shows it has power on. Very disappointed
