I recently received Galaxy tab2 10.1 as a gift. I am a chemistry major hoping to to find an app that allows me to take hand-written notes and skethces. i was wondering if there are apps similar to S Note on Glaxy Tab2 10.1?

Yes, with a stylus and a doodle or sketch-based App, you could most certainly do that.

We can't advertise or promote one App over another, but go into the Play Store and look for "sketch", "doodle" or "handwriting notes" and there should be some options for each of those.

Neither. Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth 3.0 are possible, but you'll need a carrier model if you want to get wireless connectivity outside of the range of your wireless Internet.

SD card on the new Samsung Table 3

On the Samsung Table 3 Can you put games on the SD card because on the Samsung Table 2 you can not you could only put photo and videos and songs but on the Samsung table 1 you can put games and everything else on the SD card I have both Samsung table 1 and 2 so know this. I have looked for answer on table 3 but can't find please see if you can Thank You

You can move some Apps to a SD card, however the limitations and functionality may be limited. App owners can determine if this is possible for each individual App, but photo and video can both be easily transferred.

There is not an HDMI adapter on the unit itself, but there is a cord that allows you to connect it to an HDMI enabled device, such as a television.

I just want to ask that is there multi-view(multi screening) feature on samsung galaxy tab 3 7.0??

How Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 works when purchased from Best Buy vs Cell Phone Carrier

I'm confused on the differences when purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 from Best Buy (w/built-in WiFi) versus purchasing from a cell phone carrier (having WiFi AND a mandatory data plan). Is there something in a 'data plan' that differs greatly from just having WiFi only? I'm struggling to figure out if it'd be more beneficial to purchase this tablet from my cell phone carrier OR to purchase from Best Buy. I'm NOT a gamer nor a person who downloads app after app after app. My MAIN purpose for use will be for checking my email, uploading ebooks and surfing the net (e.g. Amazon, eBay, etc). Is it necessary to have a data plan and spend the extra money or would having WiFi only, be adequate for me to have the capabilities that I'm looking for? I'd much rather NOT have to go thru my cell phone carrier if I can get by with getting the capabilities buy purchasing this device from Best Buy. Thanks for any info. (Sorry, but am so new at all this tech 'stuff' and don't want to make a huge mistake and purchase a device that's NOT what I'm looking for!)

The differences will be that the Wi-Fi one will have:

Bluetooth 3.0

Wi-Fi connectivity.

The carrier model will have:

The specifications otherwise should produce an identical experience.
