Was the overheating problem addressed in the new release. Currently I get overheat warnings within a few minutes on both of my Gear VR units. Focus adjustment issue: Was anything done to improve focus on the newer release?

While we can't speak to the new device quite yet since it's yet to be fully released, there are a few things that can be done to help any heat concerns when using any of the VR units. Make sure the smartphone battery is fully charged. Use wifi when possible instead of data. Try using power saving mode, or even air plane mode. For both the sake of heat and focusing, try turning down the brightness of your smartphone. I hope that helped to answer your questions. ^Viv

HI Manish, the USA is on a 110v 60hz power standard, where-as most other countries use a 240v 50hz standard. A converter would be needed to power the TV in a country using the 240v system. ^Rosi
