The Tablet can be a great way to use financial software - however, the author of that software will have needed to provide or author an App allowing you to use their software on that platform. Quicken - the maker of QuickBooks - would be better able to address this question.

will web vpn work with windows 8?

There should be a new version of Anyconnect that is supposed to work with Windows 8 x64. Version 3.1.00495.

You may need to contact the provider of your VPN, or Cisco, for further information.

Which HDMI input slot supports ARC (audio return Channel)?

When I use Amazon Prime or other apps from the Smart TV Hub, what are my options to get the audio to my AV Recever/stereo. I know optical is an option, but optical cables can be expensive if they are longer. My Yamaha amp supports ARC and I think this TV does as well. Just trying to find out how to hook up. I currently switch all of my video sources through my amp; ie DivectTV, Apple TV, Blu-Ray

Can I hook up my MacBook Pro to this TV?

I've seen you can hook up pc's to the tv but wondering if you can hook up a MacBook Pro? If so, and if it's compatible, will I need a special cable/adapter? Would like to be able to do skype/facetime, hulu, youtube, netflix

It would depend on the specs of your computer. If you have an HDMI or DVI port that can send a signal, it's likely that the TV will work just fine as a monitor. However, with the computer, you will need to use the computer's webcam for the Skype or Facetime options.

The cable question would be best addressed by a Best Buy Geek Squad Agent.

Does anyone know if the samsung VG-KBD2000/ZA wireless keyboard is compatible with this TV?

The VG-KBD2000 is not compatible with this model.

A standard HID (human interface device) compliant USB keyboard may work.

VESA mount

where exactly are the vesa connections on the back located?...are they centered ? i can't find a dimension drawing anywhere showing how far from the top the upper holes are and how far are the left holes from the left edge..thanks.

The manual lists where the VESA mounts are, and there are no exact dimensions available for them. For the most part, they are generally centered on the back of the television both horizontally and vertically.

A diagram is available in the owners manual, which is available for download prior to purchase on the Samsung website.

Samsung Repair Center

I've bought this laptop for my Dad as a gift, but it has a line on it's display. They did not repair the problem and sold it for luck as I, because I can't take it back to store, I'm in vacation in my Dad's homeland. I can't use my 90 days warranty, because I'm going to stay until autumn. We have Samsung Repair Center here, maybe they can assist me?
