This SiriusXM SXDV3 interoperable kit is designed for use with most SiriusXM, Sirius and XM models, so you can enjoy stations from your SiriusXM Dock & Play radio through your vehicle's stereo system.

We have a 2006 Mercedes E350. It doesn’t have Sirius built in. Will this work? What else do I need? Planning to get this for my husband for Christmas.

You will need a complete kit like the Onyx Plus, Onyx EZR, Tour or the Commander Touch. These should be on display at most Best Buy locations for you to take a look at.

I have an 06 Jaguar XJ8 with the OEM sirius FM trransmtter now defunct. Will this work in conjunction with my OEM Factory sound system? If not what will work?

You might want to look at the Commander Touch radio - it is more like the Sirius Radio you had. Another option would be the Onyx Plus or Onyx EZR radios with vehicle kit, you will also want to get a FMDA25 antenna adapter.

Will this work in a closet, that is 15 feet from a South facing window ?

the antenna will need to be in clear line-of-site with the SiriusXM satellites to receive signal - or in an area where there is strong terrestrial coverage (usually big cities) . You can test to see how it works in that location- the Onyx Plus has an "Antenna Aiming" menu option that you can use to help place the antenna in the best location

My wife wants Sirius with her headphones only. Will this unit work for that?

It depends how and where your wife is planning to use the radio. If it is one location like at a desk, then yes, however the volume is not easily adjustable. If you have a current SiriusXM subscriptions, your subscription includes SXM streaming via the SXM app.

I have a lifetime membership but my unit isn't working properly so what would I need to order because I already have the big speakers that are wireless

Is there a USB power cord available? I only have 1 12v plug that is connected to another item.

Yes, the 2018 Rav 4 has Aux input and FM so you can use EZR with the 3.5mm stereo Aux cable that comes with your Onyx EZR.

I drive an older car w/ an OnyxPlus plumbed to work off FM station; it works well. My car does not have Bluetooth on-board to make/receive phone calls through car speakers or have a mic. Does this unit's Bluetooth feature allow me to do these?

No, the SiriusXM Tour will not add Bluetooth to a vehicle that does not already have Bluetooth. The Tour will stream music over Bluetooth to a vehicle that already has Bluetooth, but will not add the feature to one that does not already have Bluetooth.
