I turned off my SiriusXM radio and now it won’t power back on. I pressed the power button to turn off and when I press the power button to turn back on, nothing happens.
Sorry you are experiencing trouble with your Commander Touch. If pressing the PWR button or Turing the car off and back on, then pressing the PWR button does not work, you can try unplugging the power harness connection from the Commander Touch hide-away tuner module for a few seconds and then plugging it back in to see if it correctly responds to the PWR button again. if you continue to have difficultly please contact us via email at SXMTour@siriusxm.com and we can help to investigate further.

How do you change the batteries on this remote? I've tried sticking a pin in the identified hole but the battery case door doesn't slide open.
Hold the remote in the palm of your hand with the keys facing your hand. Position the remote with the battery compartment closer to your thumb. Apply a firm downward pressure on the battery compartment door with your thumb while you insert a pin into the release hole. Then use your thumb to push/slide to door open. This is a child proof cover so it is supposed to be a bit difficult. Sometimes it helps to insert the pin at an angle and 'rotate' the pin so it is also pushing the door in the open direction at the same time you are pushing with your thumb.

Can this radio be installed in a 2017 Honda Accord LX? Exactly what is required for installation? Does the factory radio remain in the car? Will it still work? Any wires to cut, holes to drill, etc? Once installed is it permanent, or can be moved?
Yes it can be installed. no wires to cut and your factory radio will remain in place. The Onyx Plus with vehicle kit can be removed easily in the future if needed. For the audio connection to your factory radio, if you have an AUX input port (3.5mm) that will be the easiest audio connection. If not, the built in FM transmitter may not work that well with your particular vehicle. SiriusXM also sells a special Bluetooth dock(sold separately) that can be used in place of the one that comes with your Onyx Plus. https://shop.siriusxm.com/sxm-bluetooth-car-dock. This might be the best alternative if you do not have an AUX input

Do I need an antenna to listen in my home?
Yes- the home dock/kit comes with a home antenna. You will need to place it in a southern facing window with no physical obstructions so that it can receive the signal from the SiriusXM satellites.

I have a stereo that came with the car. I has a port in the glovebox I can plug my device to play over my stereo. Will this item work in that type of stereo?
the "port" in your glovebox sound more like an AUX audio input- if it allows for a 3.5mm cable, then you can use the cable that is included with the Onyx Plus, Onyx EZR or Tour dock and play radio and vehicle dock. You would not need the FMDA25 (that is used to interface to the FM antenna)

I have the Platinum plan, my in car radio doesn't go past the 200s, it's a 2013 model, So I can't get ch 305. If I buy this, would it allow me to get ch. 305 in my car without Wifi?
Yes, the Tour can receive channel 305 without Wi-Fi. And so can the SiriusXM Onyx Plus and Onyx EZR radios.

do you need internet in your home to get signal
No. the Onyx Plus just requires the antenna be placed in a location in your home (or outside of your home if your walls or window screens block the signal) that faces the southern sky and is not blocked by buildings, large trees or other solid objects. The Onyx Plus has a "antenna signal strength" menu option to help you point the antenna in the optimum location.
