Does it work with Bluetooth

The Onyx Plus does not support Bluetooth directly. However, you can add a Bluetooth transmitter to the Audio output port and connect to a sound system that supports Bluetooth.

Will this hook up to eclipse avn62d radio?

No- the Eclipse is an older SAT Radio Ready and requires an Eclipse adapter and Sirius SCC1 tuner - both of which were discontinued about 10 years ago. you may have luck finding them on-line or maybe through a car stereo shop that used to sell Eclipse branded products.

I'm buying a sirius radio with car kit what else will I need to hook it up to a 2003 gmc Sierra

If you are purchasing an Onyx Plus or EZR you can connect the audio to either the AUX audio input (if your radio has one) or use the FM via the Power Connect system in the Onyx plus. We would recommend adding the FMDA25 for a better FM performance - please consult your local installer for more details and options

Can I use wireless speakers? If so, how's are the best to buy. Also, I have Direct TV. Can I use this as an outdoor speaker for Sirius XM receiver???

Tricky question- the Onyx plus does not have any wireless capabilities, however if your wireless speakers are Bluetooth, you can purchase a Bluetooth transmitter system and connect to the AUDIO out of the Onyx Plus home dock. Direct TV does not have an connection to allow the input of the Onyx Plus- however your TV might- if it has a Audio Video input that is unused, just connect the Audio cable from the Onyx plus to the Audio input and switch the input on your TV to that particular one - you will not get video, but the audio will play through the TV speakers

You can add a radio like the Onyx Plus or Onyx EZR to your 2001 Vette. if it has an AUX audio input you can connect the included cable. if not, you may want to consider adding the FMDA25 antenna adapter to connect to the FM antenna in the vehicle. Another option would be to replace the factory radio with an aftermarket SiriusXM-Ready model and the SXV300 SiriusXM Tuner- please consult your local installer for details specific to your vehicle.

Do I need the vehicle kit to use the FM modulator at home?

I would like to purchase the home kit version (for the remote and the simple home dock) but I don't want to plug the radio into any speakers or stereo auxiliary. Instead, I would like to use the FM modulator and then tune into the frequency on my stereo system. However, everywhere I read says that the FM modulator is only on the vehicle-kit version. Isn't it the same exact radio in either kit version? And if so, wouldn't all the radios have an FM modulator regardless of the home or vehicle kit options?

The FM modulator is not designed to work in the home. for the home, you can connect the AUX audio cable to your home stereo

No, you will need the SCC1 tuner. unfortunately they were discontinued more than 10 years ago.

Not sure we understand the question- but the OEM tuner/antenna is specifically designed for your vehicle and the radio that came with it from the factory. the SXV300 tuner can connect to an aftermarket SiriusXM-Ready radio replacement. please consult your local Best Buy Geek Squad or installer for more options
