Will this unit work with a Clarion VX 401 head unit. Is it a driect replacement for the SCC1

No your Clarion radio is an older Sirius Ready model and needs the SCC1 tuner and interface. unfortunately they were discontinued more than 10 years ago.

No- the IVA-D900 is an older SAT Radio Ready model and would require the KCA-ALP1 interface and the SCC1 Sirius Tuner- both have been discontinued for many years

You can use a product like the Onyx plus with vehicle kit and plug the audio into your AUX input. or if you replace your radio with a SiriusXM-Ready version you can add the SXV300

My Clarion NX 501 manual calls for a Sirius SCC1 tuner to activate sat radio. Would the newer SXV300V1 tuner also work with my run it and interface.? Rich

Unfortunatly no- the Clarion radio is an older platform that is Sirius ready or SAT radio ready and requires older Sirius tuner (SCC1) and an adapter from Clarion (SIR-CL1)
