Will this work with a Uconnect 8.4A RA3 radio?

The factory radio is not SiriusXM-Ready so unfortunately the SXV300 will not connect to it. You can replace the factory radio with a SiriusXM-Ready model

I need serius xm player with dock that can set up in kitchen

The Onyx Plus or Onyx EZR with home kit can work in your kitchen. you will need to connect it to a stereo system or to a set of powered speakers (with an AUX audio input and must have a volume control)

I have an existing home stereo system I plan on replacing with this stereo. Currently, sound reaches the speaker system via a male 3.5 mm jack that I plug into a standard radio tuner or portable cd player. Can I do the same with this Sirius radio?

Yes- you can connect your Onyx Plus with home kit to the radio. The Onyx comes with a 3.5mm to RCA connector, so you might need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable if you don't have one.

i have an old xm radio . if i buy an onyx plus reciever am i able to use my old tuner cartridge?

The Onyx radio has the SiriusXM tuner built in- there are no "tuner cartridges" to deal with. You can transfer your old XM subscription to the new Onyx plus. Depending on your subscription package, your Onyx plus could also receive more channels.

Tier Onyx EZR with home kit can connect to most home stereo devices as long as it has an AUX audio input. you can also connect to a set of powered speakers as long as they have an AUX audio input and a volume control

How do you change the display to show the favorites, instead of the favorites/category options? I have 2 radios one shows the favorites on the main menu (purchased on 06-2018) but the new one shows "favorites" "category" options on the main menu?

Your new Commander Touch has the latest software v36. This has the Favorites/categories on the main screen - unfortunate you can not go backwards in the SW to an older version.
