I wanted to purchase this to take to the beach in Southern California. Will this work? With a proper docking station? Does it hold a charge does it have to be plugged in how long does it last with the charge?

Will this work with a 2008 Chevy Equinox?

The SXV300 will not connect directly to the factory radio. If the radio is a touchscreen and has USB, then an adapter from Vais Technologies. Please see for www.vaistech.com for more information and limitations.

How do I pre-set the channels I want ??

Tune to a desired channel and then press and hold the preset number you want to associate with that channel.

My radio has a USB port, but even after purchasing a USB to aux cable my 2020 kia sportage radio screen says " does not support media function". I mean it plays my phone that way, why not this onyx plus radio kit?

The Onyx Plus radio does not come with USB adapter for power or audio transfer. You will need to either hardwire it in to your radio or FM modulate the audio into your existing radio.

Will this work with a Sony CDX-CA 700x? If not what will work?

No. The CDX-CA700X is an "XM-Ready" model (not a SiriusXM-Ready model) so it will require an older XM tuner system like the XMD1000 tuner + CNPSON1 Sony adapter.

Will this radio tune in all of the Siriusxm channels that are for car radios

The number of channels available are based on the subscription plan that you purchase. With the highest subscription plan you should get all the satellite radio channels available on this radio.

Yes. you can connect the audio to the AUX input or to the FM antenna.
