I have a 2017 Ford Explorer Base 4x4 2.4l engine with the 4inch Sync screen but no Sirius XM. Is there any thing else that I would need to install Sirius in this vehicle? Thank you.

Is it portable

Not in the sense that you can take it anywhere but it is portable from one car to another. If it is fully installed in your first vehicle you can add an additional vehicle kit to move it to another car. You can also purchase the SXSD2 boombox or SXDH4 home kit to take it on the go or in your home/office.

Do I have to have SiriusXM service to use this radio or can I just use Pandora with it? I am more interested in the Alarm clock features with pandora than I am with SiriusXM

You can create Pandora stations with the device via the SXM App but it does not play strictly Pandora Stations as it is designed specifically for SiriusXM service.

The Onyx EZR radio does not have Bluetooth capabilities so it will not interfere with your garmin. If you are looking for a SiriusXM Bluetooth solution, we recommend the Tour radio.

Yes. You may need a antenna gender adapter if your radio does not use the normal Motorola FM connections.

No, the Tesla factory radio is not "SiriusXM-Ready". We recommend using either the SiriusXM Tour (with Vehicle kit) which uses Bluetooth to connect to the audio system or you can use the SiriusXM Commander Touch and connect to the FM antenna.
