will it work with Windows 10?

I have had this drive for a couple of years now attached to a media center, but now I want to use it as file storage, and since then I have upgraded to Windows 10 and it won't recognize it when I plug it in, but will when I restart my computer (an HP Pavilion laptop), Do I need to format it and/or partition it?

Thanks for your question, mark. Yes, the Canvio Desk drives are Windows 10 ready out of the box. The preloaded software (NTI Backup Now EZ) have released automatic updates to support Windows 10. Since the drive works when you restart your computer you shouldn't have to reformat the drive. You may want to check the AutoPlay settings in Windows 10 and make sure it's enabled for the external drive. Go to Settings > Devices > AutoPlay to configure that feature.

Can i use this hdd as internal hdd for my laptop if i remove the hdd from the its case?

How can I get the hard drive to work with y ps4?

I have recently purchased the hard drive and have formatted it to Fat32, my ps4 will recognize the hard drive but when I go to open, the VIDEO and MUSIC files I created are not there. Instead there is a folder that says BOOT , which has nothing in it and another one that say EFI which also has nothing in it. When I plug the hard drive into my computer I can see the folders I have created but they are not visible on the PS4. Why are they not being recognized?

However, you may have to reformat the drive to the FAT 32 file structure in order for it to be compatible with the Playstation 4. If you do have to reformat the drive it will erase the contents from the drive. Which device did you use to format the drive, the Playstation 4 or your computer?

Fan, weight, sound

How noisy is the fan? How much does it weigh? Sound quality tinny? Trying to decide between Samsung Ativ Book 9 Pro Plus 15.6 & this Toshiba.

Is the hard drive replacable?

I just installed a new Samsung SSD 512 gig drive in my current laptop. Would I be able to swap drives so my new computer has the better drive?

Battery & mouse response

How many hours is the battery good for?
Does the laptop get real hot when in use?
How is the mouse response? Quick & sensitive? or difficult to manage?

Thanks for your question, KKB966. This Satellite L55 laptop has a battery life rating of up to 6 hours and 30 minutes. The laptop will sometimes feel a little warm when in use but it should never feel hot. The touchpad or mouse settings can be adjusted by going to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Mouse
