Is this a display tablet, or do you have to look at a computer screen display while you are drawing?

If you are looking for a Pen Display tablet you can look up "Cintiq 16" and from there up we have various models that will work as a Display Pen tablet. Hope that helps. Best

Can you use this like a regular tablet or do you have to have it connected to a computer for it to work? My daughter has been wanting one, but I need to know whether or not she can use it on road trips.
