Have you tried mounting a 48" - 50" Samsung?

I need to know for certain that you tried mounting a 48" Samsung . I would definitely want to try and mount my 48" Samsung to see for myself that 47" is the absolute max size to mount.

No, unit was only tested with Flat Panel TVs of up to 47in. We do not recommend exceeding the size/weight specified for this model.

Does anybody make a TV stand with shelves for components and pull out for a turntable?

We've used a great TV stand for a square TV that has shelves for components including a pull-out tray for a turntable. We still play records and they're coming back. I hope that someone knows something.
