be lit manually. Hold a lit match near a burner and turn knob counterclockwise to LITE. After burner lights, turn knob to setting.

I read that a convection oven can work as an air fryer, if you have the correct pans such as special wire cooking trays, etc. This is a convection oven, which forces air around inside the oven, therefore you should be able to use it as an air fryer?
Hi LearningToCookWithWhirlpool, an "Air Fryer" is both hotter and has a more powerful fan than just convection bake alone. While convection does cook quicker and more evenly, an air fryer will produce a crispier result due to the higher heat and larger fan so the results will not quite be the same. We do hope this helps!
