Do we need to use an air filter with this model? There is a space for it, but it did not come with a filter. There is styrofoam behind where the air filter should go so didn't know if we put a filter in what it would do next to the styrofoam?

What is the Grease filter model number?
Hi Jackie123, the grease filter on this model is washable and reusable. They should be cleaned using warm water, dishwashing liquid, and a non abrasive brush.
You can find the instructions on how to wash them on page 10 of the Owner's Manual.
