Does this oven create alot of smoke when using the broil, roast or bake feature? Or in general?

Not particularly at all, certainly not as much as the traditional home oven can. Be sure to avoid food contacting the heating elements and to use a tray to avoid spills which may result in smoking from food contacting the hot quartz elements and you should not have any issue.

This toaster has a light to dark slider so what is the purpose of the "a little bit more" button? Is there a difference in pushing the button and just sliding the bar to a little darker unless you already have the slider bar all the way to dark?

The "Bit More" setting results in a very slight variance versus adjusting the darkness level which makes a more dramatic change.

I hope to put this in an appliance cabinet on a shelf below my microwave What is the depth of this unit including the handle? When not in use I hope to close the cabinet door If I leave 5 in above this unit is that enough re heat?

We do not recommend installing our toaster ovens into cabinetry or mounting as they require 4 inches of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation and as they are not insulated appliances.

will a 14 inch long muffin/cupcake pan fit inside?

The BOV900BSS Smart Oven Air will fit standard 9" x 13" baking pans, 12-cup muffin trays, and 9 slices of toast. The BOV800XL, BOV810BSS, and BOV845BSS fit standard ¼ sheet trays, ¼ sheet-sized accessories with no side handle, 9" x 13" baking tins with no side handles. Also, bundt pans, 6 cup muffin pans, 9 pie pans, 9 loaf pans.

Is there a setting/ability to cook microwave popcorn?

The Smart Oven Air is most comparable to an actual conventional oven, and not a microwave. Popcorn should not be made in the toaster oven, for safety reasons of the bag coming into contact with the quartz elements.

I just purchased mine. When I burned it in, the oven light worked. Two days later it doesn't turn on when I open the door or push the light button. Am I missing something or has the light burned out already?

This doesn't sound normal at all, the product should be returned to the retailer or Breville directly for exchange and new replacement.
