When in use, will the top and sides of this oven be hot. If I place the cutting board that is compatible with this oven on top, will the top of the cutting board be hot so that I should not store anything like bread on top of the cutting board. Thanks.

How warm the cutting board gets depends upon how long you have the oven on. If you find that the feel of the cutting board is getting too hot, then yes, you'll want to remove anything that may get overheated.
