Can I have 6" clearance instead of 8" on the top of this microwave?

This microwave requires a minimum clearance of 4 inches (10cm) is required between the microwave and any adjacent walls, and a minimum clearance 8 inches (20cm) above the microwave. Not adhering to these requires can cause the unit to malfunction, and to void the warranty.

Is any part of the roller turntable support made of Teflon/nonstick, including the wheels? I ask because some manufacturers have told me they put Teflon/nonstick in their wheels. I have a pet bird and anything with Teflon or nonstick is lethal to my bird
