Can I use metal when on the fast combi setting - or for example on the pizza setting most need a larger tray than provided can I use a metal one?
It is never recommended that metal pans be used in the Breville® BMO870 Combi Wave™ Microwave in any function that utilizes the microwave power.

Which Breville convention oven will hold a 9x13" baking dish?
So long as the pan being used is rated for use in a toaster oven and does not have handles, any of the Breville® ovens, from the BOV800 Smart Oven® up to the BOV900 Smart Oven® Air, will accommodate that size dish.

When I open the door, it makes a catching noise, it doesn't just open, almost like something might be misaligned? When the door closes, it stops just before the auto close, but when pushed a bit more, the auto close works perfectly. Is this normal?

No, the alerts that sound from the Breville® BOV845 Smart Oven® Pro cannot be muted.

Can this item be used to heat a cup of coffee and also as a toaster?
The Breville® BMO870 Combi Wave™ Microwave could be used to reheat a cup of coffee but the microwave does not have a toast function.
