Trying to decide b/w the Smooth Wave & the Combi Wave. We have a nook, like a shelf with sides & a back, but open to the front. Nook dimensions are 14.5" H x 23.5" W x 23" D. Could either of these work safely in that space? Is 1 better than the other?
The exterior dimensions of the Breville® BMO870 Combi Wave™ are 20.4" (W) x 12.5" (H) x 20.2" (D). However it is recommended that an additional 8 inches of space be allowed around the microwave for proper ventilation while in operation. The exterior dimensions of the Breville® BMO850 Smooth Wave™ Microwave are 20.4" (W) x 12.5" (H) x 17.5" (D) and an additional 4 inches of space be allowed on both sides for proper ventilation while in operation.

I see the width is 20.4331" when door is closed. What is the total width when the door is open? I have 21 1/16" (21.0625") available so I am not sure if I will be able to open the door. Thank you.
The depth of the Breville® BMO850 Smooth Wave™ Microwave, with the door open 90° , will be approximately 34".
