I bought this pc and it says it has wireless connection in the description but when i connect to the wifi it doesn't work i can connect but the wifi just doesn't work so do i need to buy an adapter?

Can a all in onec PC be used as a monitor? It has a HDMI input

I have my order and the instructions say there is a hardware installation needed but I don't understand any of the instructions. Can someone help?
