Does this device require updates (which can only be paused), or is there an option to turn them off completely and/or choose the ones you permit? Some automatic updates include bugs and ruin the system. I would like to control the updates on my end.

Click the Advanced options button. Under the "Pause updates" section, use the drop-down menu and select how long to disable updates. This Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop is compatible with any wireless printer that is compatible with the Windows 10/11 S-Mode 64-bit Operating System. Windows 10/11 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10/11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. We recommend you check with your printer manufacturer's web site for compatibility of the specific printer model you have/select. I have 2 questions 1. Do I need a power convertor to use the laptop in Romania? ( Not a plug convertor BUT a power convertor as Romania operate with 230 V and the US operates with 120 V) 2. Do I need to buy / install an antivirus?

This Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 82H801DQUS, is a 110V device. It does ship with a Dual Voltage AC adapter/charger with a USA compatible wall side plug. To use this computer outside the USA, you will need to add a compatible wall side plug adapter, compatible with the country that the computer will be used in. This wall side plug adapter is sold separately.
